Here are a just few example volunteer activities that would be greatly appreciated - and your ideas are welcomed!:
- Fundraisers
- Supervise and keep students on track with their projects
- Monitor tasks and deadlines
- Assist with student’s research
- Help in finding credible websites and books
- Help with paraphrasing on note cards
- Help locate live resources for projects
- Provide individual help for ALEKS online math.
- Be a liaison with the community: find mentors/experts for student projects, find ways for the school to connect more with the community, develop community outreach (service) projects, submit press releases to surrounding newspapers.
- Help to organize the BBHCS classroom.
